Today was the day. A few weeks ago, B decided she wanted to cut her hair again (this is the 2nd time)and donate it to Locks of Love. So, we measured her hair, and it was long enough to donate. Over the past few weeks, we have been talking about the choice she was making and why she was making it. She said that she wanted to donate her hair because she is fortunate enough to be able to grow her hair long enough and fairly quick. (She cut 13 inches off last time she donated - just under 2 years ago.) She also said that the reason she grows her hair long now is so that she has the opportunity to give it to others that don't have hair. She has made this choice on her own and very selflessly. She is such an example of giving something and expecting nothing in return. She is our sweet girl with a heart of gold!

I am so very proud of Bailey!! She has always been the sweetest most loving girl, and for her to be so generous tells a lot about her beautiful heart. What a wonderful gift for someone who has lost their own hair.

WoW! I'm so impressed by B's caring and generosity, she's quite the gal. The new do is very sassy! Wonder where she gets her big caring heart from...couldn't be her mom could it?
That is the greatest gift anyone can give. Hair is the crowning glory of a woman - so to sacrifice your crown so that someone else can have a crown to is the ultimate gift. She is truly is of Royal Birth...Thanks B for your great example, your new 'do' is darling!
B i am so proud of you!!! I have been doing locks of love for years now and I just love it! I just donated 2 months ago! B way to make the right choice for the right reason! You are such a great kid, must be those parents you have!
She is such a sweet girl, I just love her to death and so do my kids :) Please tell her she looks adorable with her new hair cut!
Bailey - you have such a great heart to give a gift to someone you don't even know! You are an inspiration to me and your mom. I'm proud of you, but your "sassy" new hair do makes you look older and I DON'T like that !!! LOL

To my Bailey, I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of you and how much I love you. You have done such an awesome thing for someone else. What a great gift to give, especially at this time of the year. That is what Christmas is all about.
