Alex had a HUGE night tonight. My big boy has started Tae Kwon Do. We have tried for the past 4 months to get him into this class. Well, as luck would have it, there was a spot this month and his first class was tonight! We are so proud of him. It was great to take him in and see how much he's matured from the last time he did Tae Kwon Do when he was 4. He's much more disciplined and way ready to take on this challenge. He asked his teacher at the end of class what he has to do to earn his belt. I was excited to hear exactly what he needed to hear - practice, come to class, listen. Alex has his eye on the prize...a new belt. We are super proud of him and can't wait to see him move forward with this!

Alex...I love your pictures with you in your uniform. You are going to be a great "Karate Kid"!!!! and Grampa and I are so proud of you. Just keep practicing and soon you will have all the different belts you want. Wish that I was there to watch you practice!!!! Grama
